Hi there!
Taking Flight Speech, Language and Literacy offers paediatric mobile services to home, school and community settings in Western Melbourne and Inner Melbourne suburbs. We also offer telehealth to all of our clients, including those in regional Victoria and NSW. All kids, regardless of location, deserve to build the skills, knowledge and confidence that they need to be taking flight and unlocking their full potential!
We are all about celebrating strengths and offering integrated, evidence-based and data-informed support. This integrated support may be using everyday routines in your home, or using common languages (Australian Curriculum, Early Years Framework, ICF) to align our services to your educational setting. We’re not about doing ‘extra’ work!
We have a strong commitment to designing and advocating supports for the inclusion of all children and young adults with barriers to their learning. A holistic and transparent service delivery is given, where regular contact is made with all people around the client. This contact extends from parent(s)/caregiver(s) to other professionals, ensuring that the student needs are met and progress to the desired outcome.
